The 'Phases' series refers to the 'Five Stages of Grief.' Typically these stages are associated with accepting death, but they can apply to many problematic situations in life. 'Phases' is based on the experience of living under forced immigration. People forced to leave their home often find it difficult to adapt and start over in a new place.
